report as spam link

What is the "Report as Spam" feature?
This feature allows you to notify us of an unsolicited email you received in your Inbox. Clicking the "Report as Spam" button sends a copy of the Spam to the My Way Email Team so we can make the necessary adjustments to our filter.

How do I report an email as Spam?
From your Inbox: You can report an email or multiple emails as Spam from your Inbox by marking the checkbox next to the email(s) and clicking the "Report as Spam" button.
From an open message: If you are reading an email and would like to report it as Spam, simply click the "Report as Spam" link under the From header.

What happens after I report an email as Spam?
A copy of the email will be forwarded to the My Way Email Team for review so we can make any necessary adjustments to the filter. Any message you report as Spam will automatically move from your Inbox to your Trash folder.

I received a second email from the same company/individual even though I reported them already. Why?
There are several reasons why you may receive an additional email from the sender you reported. We may still be looking into your original complaint, or we may have determined that the email cannot be considered Spam. If you continue to receive unsolicited emails from the same sender, we recommend that you use the Block feature in My Way email.

To Block a sender or domain:
 •  Mark the checkbox next to the message(s) that you would like to block.
 •  Click the "Block" button in the upper navigation bar.
 •  Choose to block all future messages from the address, or the domain by clicking the appropriate radio button.
 •  Click "Save."
 •  Click "Ok."

bulk mail and spam filtering levels

Your Bulk Mail Folder is designed to help you better manage unsolicited and commercial messages (spam) that are sent to your Inbox.

My Way allows you to set your Spam Filtering Level. To do so, simply go into your Bulk Mail Folder and choose between Low, Medium, Medium-high and High at the top of the page. By doing so, messages that are suspected of being spam by our system will be delivered to your Bulk Mail Folder, instead of your Inbox. The Bulk Mail Folder will then be periodically emptied by our system.

Note: The more aggressive your spam filtering level, A) the fewer suspected spam messages will show up in your Inbox, and B) the greater the possibility that occasional "good" messages intended for your Inbox may be misconstrued as suspected spam and routed to your Bulk Mail folder. If you choose a high filter setting, be sure to check your Bulk Mail folder periodically for any "good" messages that may have been misidentified.
