What is "One-Click Access" to email?
My Way gives you the ability to get one-click access to your primary Web-based email account (My Way, Yahoo, Hotmail, whichever account you choose) by using the "my email" links across the site to point directly to your primary account's sign-in page.
How do I set up One-Click Access to my primary Web-based email account?
First, go to the "my email" settings page.
Select the Web-based email account that you would like to access from the options provided. If the email provider you use is not listed, select the "Other" option on the right and enter in your account name and the URL or web address of your account's sign-in page.
When you have completed filling out the information, click on the button labeled "Give Me Direct, one-Click Access to To My Email".
Now every time you click on the "my email" link on the My Way home page, your personalized My Page, or at the top of most other My Way pages, you'll automatically be taken directly to your primary email account's sign-in page.
How do I access my My Way Email account if I've already chosen a different primary account?
Your personalized My Page features an Email & Community module. Within this module, you'll find a link directly to your My Way Email account, regardless of what site you have selected as your primary account. If you wish to change your primary account back to your My Way Email account, just click the My Email Settings link at the bottom of any page and select "My Way" as your email provider.
Why is my Web-based Email account not listed in the choices provided?
We have included listings of many of the most popular Web-based email accounts to automatically configure One-Click Access.
If the Web-based email provider you use is not listed, you can select the "Other" option on the right side of your "my email" settings page and enter in your account name and the URL or Web address of your account's sign-in page.
Why do I still need to sign in to my Web-based email account after setting up this feature?
The One-Click Access feature does not store passwords for your external email accounts. You will still need to enter your account name and password to sign in to your primary email account.
Does One-Click Access retrieve the email from my external email provider and display it within my My Way account?
No. The One-Click Access feature is not a POP mail retrieval system. You can set up POP folders within My Way Email to access your POP mail accounts with different providers. You can locate this feature by activating your My Way Email account and then selecting the link for POP Accounts from the email navigation screen once you are within your My Way account.
I set up One-Click Access and now I would like to change the settings to a different email provider. How do I do this?
You may change your primary account at any time by clicking the "my email" settings link at the bottom of any My Way page. If you would like to change your settings to your My Way Email account, just select "My Way" from the list of options provided.
